MTV Movie Awards หนึ่งในงานประกาศรางวัลที่สร้างสีสันมากที่สุด กลับมาอีกครั้งในปี 2017 พร้อมความเปลี่ยนแปลงครั้งใหญ่ เพราะคราวนี้มีการเปลี่ยนชื่อรางวัลเป็น MTV Movie & TV Awards ซึ่งนำผลงานสาขาภาพยนตร์และโทรทัศน์มาเข้าชิงร่วมกันครั้งแรก โดยล่าสุด 6 เมษายน 2017 เว็บไซต์ของ MTV เผยรายชื่อผู้เข้าชิงรางวัล MTV Movie & TV Awards 2017 ซึ่งผลออกมาว่า Get Out หนังสยองขวัญมาแรงแห่งช่วงต้นปี 2017 เข้าชิงมากที่สุดถึง 6 รางวัล ตามมาด้วย Beauty and the Beast ที่เข้าชิง 4 รางวัล ส่วนเจ้าของรางวัลออสการอย่าง Moonlight เข้าชิงทั้งหมด 3 รางวัล โดยรายชื่อผู้เข้าชิงแบบเต็ม ๆ มีดังนี้
